On January 2nd, we joined our local YMCA. We had to pay $16 registration fee and then $28 for the membership from January 2nd to January 14th. Now we will be charged $61 plus tax every 15th of the month.
So how much have we used it? The girls and I have gone 5 times. I've taken 3 zumba classes and walked on the track some. The girls go to the children's room while I'm working out. After my work outs sometimes I'll take them swimming for an hour. Mr. R has gone 3 times to work out.
So not counting the $16 registration fee, we've paid $1.55 per person, per visit. I'm pretty happy with that. When we go, we're usually there for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours. It's getting us out of the house during the winter and keeping us active.
