Since I went to the grocery store yesterday without a list, I kind of threw some meals together in my mind on the fly at the store.
Today, I'm going to make a ham and cheesy potato meal. I'll cut up some red potatoes, use up some sliced ham we have. Add onion, green pepper, mushrooms, sour cream and cheddar cheese. Maybe throw some cream of mushroom soup in there, I'll have to see when I throw it all together how it comes out. Pop it in the oven for about an hour and dinner is done. I also have an acorn squash I need to cook too.
Sunday - Sept. 29 - We are having dinner with my friends mom. I have a friend who is very very sick. Her family has been struggling to pay for medical supplies and for her care. They have some boxes of things they want me to try to sell on eBay for them to earn some extra money. So we are having dinner with her mom to get the boxes. They live 45 minutes away and my friend isn't able to leave the house unless in an ambulance. I might invite my grandma to go with us to combine meals. That way we don't have to spend the money to eat out a second time this week, either that or I'll invite grandma to dinner at our house 1 night.
Monday Sept. 30 - Whole Chicken in Crock Pot with carrots, potatoes, mushrooms
Tuesday Oct. 1 - Spaghetti with meat sauce (Meat Sauce from freezer)
Wednesday - Oct. 2 - Crockpot Hawaiian Kielbasa
Thursday - Chicken Parmesan
Friday - Mr. Ripples Bowling Party - Pizza and cake
The only thing I should need from the store this week is some more produce later in the week. Also I need to buy 2 boxes of cake mix, 2 boxes strawberry Jello, and 2 cream cheese frostings to make Mr. Ripple's birthday cake. I forgot to get those at Aldi yesterday.
