One thing that I am so grateful for is how understanding my boss is about kids. She's a mom so she gets it. Big R had yet another snow day today. I texted my boss to make sure it would be ok to bring her with me to work for the morning. My boss was fine with it. In fact, I had my daughter sitting on the floor to one side of my cube reading and drawing. My boss got her and set her up with her own desk and supplies. Big R thought she was so cool. Especially since we brought her Barbie lap top so she really felt like a big person.
Big R spent the morning coloring, drawing, reading on her nook and playing on her Barbie lap top. She was so well behaved and quiet. I was really proud of her. She only had to stay with me at work for about 3 1/2 hours and then I took her home to Mr. R.
I have a woman boss who is also a mom. She's so understanding like yours. It makes a big difference.
