Updates to Meal Plan this week

This was our original meal plan for the week, we only actually made 2 of the planned meals instead creating meals out of leftovers from the fridge.:
Sunday - Mexican Pizza and Ham and Cheese pizza (using home made refried beans from freezer and left over ham)
Monday - Chili (from Freezer) and garlic bread
Tuesday - Spaghetti (meat sauce from freezer) and salad
Wednesday - Baked Chicken and Baked Potatoes
Thursday - Chicken Stuffing Casserole (using leftover chicken from Wednesday)
Friday - Cheeseburgers
Saturday - Pork roast, sauerkraut and home made mashed potatoes

Monday was my beer, chocolate and pickles dinner.  Mr. Ripples and the girls ate up some left overs I think.
Tuesday I made strawberry pancakes and egg, ham and cheese omelets to use up some things that were in the fridge.
Wednesday Nacho night to use up the leftovers ingredients from the mexican pizza on Sunday
Thursday - I asked Mr. Ripples to make cheeseburgers.  He made chicken nuggets to go with it.  (sigh) Wasn't exactly healthy but he said it was like eating at McDonalds.  Whatever.
Friday - I'm going to put the chili from the freezer into the refrigerator to thaw some.  I'll pop it in the crock pot tomorrow morning and Mr. R can make the garlic bread before dinner.
Saturday - Pork Roast, Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes
The baked chicken and chicken stuffing casserole will move to next week.


  1. Oops, my comment crashed. Was just going to say that Monday sounded interesting. And ham and cheese pizza sometimes is the best, especially from scratch. I've been craving it for a while now.
