This is how a conversation went with my daughter last night:
Me: Since you helped clean, you can take some change off the table for your pickle jar.
Big R: Just any change?
Me: You can have 2 quarters.
Big R: Just 2? 4 would be better so I have a whole dollar.
Smart Girl. Already negotiating her pay.
Ha! Love that!

ReplyDeleteThey learn so early, haha. But good for them. Indeed, 4 is a lot than 2 quarters. She just gave herself a 100% raise by just asking!
