Sometimes Organic is Cheaper

I've gotten into the habit of checking the organic prices against the non organic before I buy produce at the store.

There are times that the organic produce is actually cheaper than the non-organic or only minimally more.

Yesterday I purchased organic grapes for $2.29 a pound when the regular grapes were only $1.99 per pound.  Organic red apples were $1.29 per pound when regular bulk apples were $1.69.

I've also purchased organic zucchini for less than the non-organic.

I won't usually shell out lots of money for organic produce but if it saves me money or isn't much more expensive than might as well.
