Home Inspection

We had the home inspection yesterday for the new condo.  There isn't any major issues with the condo.  Here are some of the issues the home inspector found:

• AC, Furnace and Water Heater are all old but working
• Furnace is really dirty inside
• One of the breakers in the electric box is double tapped
• Recommended a hand railing for the two steps down to the patio
• Garbage Disposal is turning on but something is stuck in it
• Exhaust fan in upstairs bathroom doesn't vent out

We are asking the seller to have the furnace cleaned and serviced since it appears it hasn't been done in a long time and to have the double tap in the electric box fixed. 

I'm not sure if we'll do anything about the bathroom vent.  I have a feeling ours doesn't vent outside either.  I do want to have our handy man put in a rail for the two steps to the patio for safety although we don't have this for our patio and have never had a problem with anyone falling.

The termite inspection is on Monday and then we'll have to wait for the seller's response on fixing the couple of items
