Home Depot Kids Workshop

On the first Saturday of every month our local Home Depot has a kids workshop.  I would assume that most Home Depots do this.  We almost always take Little Ripples.  Today she made a lawn mower pencil holder.  With my help, she had to hammer the nails in, glue some of the wood pieces together and paint it.

In the past she has made a race car, a plant holder that held two small plants (for mother's day), and a valentine's box.

It's fun and a great way to expose kids to some basics like using a hammer and nails, etc.  And its something Free that we can do together.

Here's her Lawn Mower with a couple pencils in it.:
