Twinkle Toes Score!

My daughter's best friend wear's Sketcher's Twinkle Toes to School.  So Big R keeps asking when she will get a pair.  On Sketcher's website, they are $49 per pair.  We don't spend that kind of money on shoe's for a 6 year old.  Last time my mom let her pick out a pair of sketcher's they fell apart in about a month.

So on Tuesday when I was dropping off some close at the local consignment store, I was surprised to see they had 2 pairs of Sketcher's Twinkle Toes.  One looked like they were only worn once or twice.  One pair is Big R's next size up and the other pair is two sizes up.  But I found a pair of white dress shoes on clearance for $2.75.

All 3 pairs of shoes cost me $25.  A little more than I would normally spend on used shoes, but they made my daughter so happy! And I found the exact same pairs of Sketchers on their website for $49 each!  So for half price I was able to purchase 3 pairs of shoes.  Not bad at all.

  1. Wow, $25 for 3 pairs of shoes is NICE! I've seen the prices on kids' shoes, and you'd think you're buying adult work shoes. So expensive. Last year for our Christmas family at work, buying shoes for a 4yo cost me as much as 3/4 of all of his clothes combined!
