Throwing the Best Birthday Sleep Over Ever!

Big R had her birthday sleepover this past Saturday.  We had 4 girls between the ages of 8 and 10 plus 2 four year olds.  Everyone showed up at 6 pm on Saturday wearing their pajamas.

My Girls waiting for their friends to show up for the sleep over.
Food: I baked 3 frozen pizzas from Aldi.  We had tons of left overs.  One of my friends brought a beautiful Frozen birthday cake for my daughter for dessert.  I also had Kool-Aid drinks and Grape pop and Orange pop purchased from the Dollar Store.

Snack:
Popcorn and Candy Buffet

Games & Activities:
Big R received a Monster High Share or Scare game for her birthday that was similar to truth or dare.  We took turns doing the Scare (dare) cards.  They were really silly dares like jump on one foot singing Row Row Row Your Boat until time ran out on the timer.  Or put a bean bag on the floor and push it from one end of the room to the other with your nose.

Everyone thought this was really fun and we laughed a lot.

Painting Stained Glass Door Hangers with Paint Pens - I purchased the
paint pens and door hangers for $10 at Orientaltrading.com.  There was enough
for 12 door hangers, 2 per child.
Nail Polish Game - I wrote the numbers 1 - 6 on a piece of paper and placed a different color
of nail polish on each number.  Then each girl took turns rolling a dice that I took from a different
board game.  On each turn each girl had to paint 1 fingernail for whatever color corresponded to the
number on the dice.  This game was a BIG hit.  And I bought the nail polish on clearance for $.25 - $.33 per bottle.
Each of the girls got to choose 1 bottle to take home with them after the game.

Favors:
Each girl got a favor bag ($.09 each), 1 lollipop pen ($.70 each), 1 notebook ($.35 each),
1 tape dispenser ($.18 each), a beaded ring craft kit that we ran out of time to do at the party
(bought on clearance $.36 each) and some candy.  Plus whatever nail polish they
picked out from the nail polish game.

Breakfast - chocolate donuts and chocolate mini-muffins.

I made the girls lay down at 11 pm but heard them up and giggling until after 1 am!  Then, they woke up at 6 am!  I was exhausted but everyone agreed it was the best sleep over ever.
