Another Round of Lay Offs and Starting the Job Search

My work has gone through another round of lay offs this week.  I'm not sure if they are done yet but supposedly our department is.  We lost some great people.  One person I worked with for almost 10 years and she has probably been with the company for over 20 yrs.  It's been a very emotional week.

I am lucky to still be one of the few with a job after 4 rounds of lay offs in the last year and a half. I had started sending out my resume again earlier this week and already have an interview scheduled for Tuesday.  Not getting my hopes up but glad that I've already gotten a call on my resume.
