February Grocery Budget Update

Three times this week Mr. R stopped in to pick up 1 or 2 items and came out $20 later.  And yes, I'll admit to slight nagging each time.

So what did I do?  I ran into Acme to pick up a prescription, bread and a couple other items we needed.  Forgot my list, of course, and ended up spending $28.  I justified a few purchases because I had a $10 gift card that someone at Acme was nice enough to mail me since I complained last week. But I still picked up a few impulse buys.  And I forgot the paper towels. 

We have needed paper towels all this week and its the one thing Mr. R and I forgot to buy every time we've been in a store.

$197 left in the February Grocery Budget. 

Hopefully I can get a better handle on the menu plan and grocery list next week to prevent all these quick runs to the store.
