I've recently installed a back up battery, as I could not get the garage door open when the power went out. This was due to the previous owner who did not plan ahead. Maybe you can consider it, too, and then you always have a backup to fall back on.

Giovanni @ Coastal Contract HardwareGiovannihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17733450277378969472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3386999024533395972.post-11656195386650864122015-11-02T01:56:29.254-05:002015-11-02T01:56:29.254-05:00You count on your garage door to bar unwanted entr...You count on your garage door to bar unwanted entry from your home and protect your car, which is a significant investment. He heard a noise out in the garage late at night and found the ceiling had fallen. In his case, because the wall board was put in with nails NOT screws they think with the extreme swings in temp here lately the nails just contracted so much that it dropped the wallboard. check and see if yours was but in with nails or screws and that might be the culprit.slugmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12728856166374248591noreply@blogger.com
